Folkového klubu
prehliadky folkovej tvorby v Partizánskom... Predsa len sa stal tento dátum medzníkom, kedy
sa na Strednom Ponitrí našiel niekto, kto začal iniciovať stretnutia folkerov z regiónu a neskôr
si pozýval k tomu hosťa z iného kúta Slovenska. Akýmsi predchodcom partizánskeho festivalu
boli v roku 1998 Sádocké májové dni, ktoré organizovala partia trampov okolo Tibora "Klajba"
Minaroviča z Bošian. Práve na Sádockých dňoch, ktoré ponúkali priestor aj iným žánrom hudby,
nielen country, sa dala dohromady folková skupina Túlaví z Bošian a neskôr práve tu našli bratia
Šedíkovci - Turkovci - Katea z Dolných Vesteníc svojho basgitaristu. Od roku 1993 organizuje
neformálne decembrové stretnutia kamarátov - muzikantov country a trampskej piesne aj
pesničkár Tibor "Tipe" Zsido z Partizánskeho, dnes žijúceho v Krásne.
Všetko to začalo začiatkom roka 1998, keď Alenka Borszéková (teraz predsedníčka klubu),
predstavila na stránkach regionálneho týždenníka Tempo folkovú skupinu Túlaví z Bošian. Jej
osobné stretnutie s takmer o generáciu mladšími nadšencami pre folk len potvrdilo naladenie
na rovnakú túlavú nôtu. Ďalším dôležitým momentom bolo stretnutie s Mariánom "Maňasom"
Nováčikom, lídrom skupiny Pohoda z Topoľčian, ktoré sprostredkoval Peter Paták z Túlavých
s cieľom organizovať koncerty folkových kapiel. Na celoslovenskej folkovej scéne Pohoda čosi
znamenala už celých desať rokov, spoločne sme však hľadali možnosť, ako dostať pôvodnú folkovú
hudbu do povedomia tunajších ľudí na Strednom Ponitrí. Prvým pokusom bol koncert oboch skupín
Túlaví a Pohoda v apríli 1998 v Kultúrnom dome v Krušovciach. Druhý koncert mali Túlaví na
regionálnom zraze turistov v Látkovciach, kde sa krstil nový album Pohody Túlavých s názvom
Leto. Väčší úspech však mal koncert pri príležitostí 10. narodenín skupiny Pohoda, ktorý sa
konal v tom istom roku v októbri v Krušovciach. Akciu organizoval KST Kamarát a sála praskala
vo švíkoch. Turisti, trampi, pesničkári, skrátka každý kto má k tejto muzike blízko. A práve
tu sa zrodila myšlienka presunúť podobné podujatie to jedného z okresných miest. Vyhralo to
jednoznačne Partizánske aj vďaka podpore vtedajšieho riaditeľa Mestského kultúrneho strediska
Sergeja Talára. A tak prišiel dátum 17. apríl 1999 a s ním prvý ročník prehliadky pôvodnej
folkovej tvorby Folková jar v Partizánskom...
Kým na prvých dvoch ročníkoch účinkovali len tri telesá, počet účinkujúcich sa z roka na
rok zvyšoval, až sa stal z prehliadky regionálny festival. Od roku 2001 začíname organizovať
aj druhé podujatie v roku Benefičné Folkové Vianoce, z ktorých dobrovoľné vstupné sme
venovali deťom z Detského domova vo Veľkých Uherciach, deťom z Azylového centra Orchidea
v Bošanoch, alebo mentálne a telesne postihnutým deťom z centra Frézia v Partizánskom. Po
šiestich ročníkoch komornejších priestorov Knižničného klubu sa v roku 2007 pre veľký záujem
presťahovala Folková jar opäť do Domu kultúry. Od roku 2008 sa Folková jar a Benefičné Folkové
Vianoce stávajú putovným festivalom a organizujú sa v obciach v okolí Partizánskeho.
